Friday the 13th, February 2015 The Pancake Epidemic presented a collaboration between Barry McGee and Beats by Dre. A full house, Coffee (over) flowing, Beats pills on display, Alejandra’s Quesadillas busting belt buckles and Barry McGee himself, hanging around, chatting, giving out custom stickers and signing for fans.
The collaboration between McGee and Beats leaves us with a beautiful limited and collectable product. Our chef Alejandra came through rocking Blue Corn Tortillas from scratch, and “pick-your-filling” styled quesadillas, with everything from Chicken and Pork to mushrooms and peppers, and some of the spiciest damn red-sauce any mexican-food connoisseur would feel privileged to get their hands on.
A big THANKS to Barry and Beats by Dre for coming out to celebrate and setting the tone. It was an inspiring breakfast.
