The Pancake Epidemic wraps up it’s multi-faceted ATTACK room installation with Los Angeles artist Cali Thornhill Dewitt. For the last three months, Cali took over the Dr. Chen space at TPE where the installation played home with a number of original art works, events, conversations and birthed a handful of unique ideas and collaborations. One of these being a joint project where Cali sourced textiles from his surrounding studio neighborhood while Dr Romanelli reconstructed them into one of a kind wearable pieces of art.
To help commemorate this unique installation, Dr. Chen produced a limited edition run of Cali designed graphic t-shirts and sweatpants. Produced in Japan, these highly sought after pieces were seeded to friends, family and those in the know.
